The app does not recognise my event code
Check the code against your registration confirmation email. Capitals do not matter — the app converts what you type. If the code still does not work, the event may not be open yet, or the organisers may have closed it after the congress. They can tell you which it is.
I am not receiving notifications
Notifications are set per device. Allow them for Summitware Events in your phone settings — Settings, then Notifications on iPhone, or Settings, then Apps, then Notifications on Android. If you declined them the first time the app asked, this is where you turn them back on. Announcements sent while notifications were off are still in the app.
The programme is out of date or a session is missing
The programme comes from the organisers and updates when your device is online. Open the event again while connected to refresh it. If something is still wrong, the organisers are the ones who can change it.
Can I use the app without an internet connection?
Yes. Once you have opened an event, the programme is stored on your device, so you can use it in a congress hall with poor reception. You need a connection to open a new event and to receive updates and announcements.
Do I need an account to use the app?
No. You open an event with its code, and that is enough. Where organisers offer it, you can sign in with the attendee account you created on their registration website.
How do I delete my data?
Remove the event in the app, or uninstall the app, and everything stored on your device is gone. Your attendee account lives on the organisers’ registration website and can be deleted there under Account settings. Our privacy policy explains what the app sends to us.
